"I Love to See the Temple"!

This post is a continuation of my last post, because.. I can ;)

On the last day in Utah, but certainly not the least, Tuesday morning (July 8th), before stopping at Cabela's of course, we went to the Mount Timpanogos Temple! Our goal is to go to a session in all the Utah temples that are right there on our way to family, which include Logan (check), Brigham, Ogden, Bountiful, Salt Lake (check), Jordan River, Oquirrh, Draper, Mount Timpanogos (which is now a check!), Provo (check), and Provo City and Payson when they get finished! We have a lot of work to do!

But anyways, so we went to the temple! And it was beautiful!

After we got out there was seriously no one around that could take our picture, so we took a few selfies trying to capture the temple and ourselves :)

And then someone came out that I asked to take our picture!

And she did an OK job, but I think the selfie is still my favorite! ;)
And before going to Cabela's we ate at my personal favorite fast food restaurant (Because I don't like fast food!), Popeyes!

There's chicken under those fries somewhere!
When I was writing about the temple, I got the idea to create a whole new post about all the temples we have been to, so that is why this continuation...

Because our real goal is to go through as many temples as we can! We make it a point, that if we are traveling and there is a temple there or on the way, to go through it if we can! And we have been to a few...
Provo

Rexburg

Logan

Salt Lake
...plus the Mount Timpanogos pictured above, and the temple we go to the most often, and the funny part is we don't have a picture of, the Twin Falls Temple! :)

Until next time!

SUMMER!!!.. Is half way Over!

Sooo,, Sorry about the title a few posts ago.. "First comes love, then comes marriage". At first I thought that the title might make people think we were announcing, but then I decided naaa people wont think that! But, you did! Haha it was one of my most viewed posts and lots of people told me they thought we were announcing! So sorry! If we were to announce, I probably would have added "First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes.." But anyways.. not announcing! haha

Here it is July 10th and I can not believe how fast summer has gone!! It's practically half way over :(
So this post isn't anything too special, just a few things we have done this summer, so far.

First of all, Tommy had really bad allergies for like, I can't even remember how long we let it go on! (Poor miserable guy!) When we finally decided it was allergies, he tried Claratin, which worked for a little while, then tried Alavert, which didn't help, and finally tried Zyrtec, which also didn't help. So since nothing was working and the guy was miserable, we went to the allergy doc and Tommy got tested.

YUP!! ALLERGIC!!           ^
The test straight above the little arrow I made on the pictures caption, bottom of column 6, is where they inserted the most toxic serum they could come up with. His body reacted to it, but not that bad. And to the grass serum they inserted, his body reacted significantly more because it "viewed" this toxin way more worse than the most toxic serum they had. So he got some Prednisone, nose spray, eye drops, and told to take two Zyrtec, and it definitely helped! He's a lot better now!

Next fun thing we did. The Drive-In's we have here either both got shut down or one of them got shut down, I'm not for sure. But they opened it back up again for the summer, and since we had never been to the Drive-In in our truck, I decided to take Tommy on a date June 27th, the night it opened back up to watch Maleficent, because a Drive-In is way more fun in the bed of a truck! We got there almost an hour early because I figured there would be a lot of people, and the place was packed! So it's a good thing we went early! Now, our truck is pretty big and kind of hard to drive, so it was really funny the looks we got when we were backing in to the spot we wanted. The people next to us thought for sure that #1. we were not going to fit, and 2. that we were going to Hit them! But we didn't, and it was snug"ish", but we fit :)

Sporting my HS Softball sweats!
And.. we may have wedged in a little bit, but we got a good seat!
Our layers and layers of blankets bed :) And the cute guy in the bed!

And of course my favorite picture we're looking at ourselves on the screen instead of at the camera..

Oh, there we're lookin'!
The last adventure for this post is our trip to Utah! Our niece was getting baptized so we went down to Utah for that, and stayed for the 4th of July and for a few days after. For the night of the fourth we went with Tommy's sister to the Provo temple grounds to watch the Stadium of Fire firework show, which was a pretty awesome fire work show! (And which I won't post any pictures of because we all know that we try and try and try to take an awesome picture of the fire works,,, and none of them work out! Haha) And plus Carrie Underwood was there singing "Independence Day"! She was in the actual stadium performing, so we didn't get to see her, and didn't really hear her performance until she sang "Independence Day", which is one of my favorite songs she sings! So that was pretty great!

This^^is a Fantastic picture!! ;)
We should have taken a picture when it wasn't so dark so Tommy could have kept his eyes open! ;)
Monday morning (July 7th) we went to Seven Peaks for a few hours and then had a fire that night to roast mallows (which I didn't take any pictures of because once again it was too dark!)

Don't mind my husband not smiling!.. It's a rare picture where he is actually smiling.. a real smile! :)
Are you sick of seeing pictures of just me and Tommy posing yet??! Haha I like to take pictures but I really like to be doing the fun instead of photographing the fun, so sorry it's mainly just pictures of us before the fun begins, cuz then the camera aka phone gets left behind!
