Season Greetings from the Caribbean!

Warning: This Post May be Long Due to Containment of All the Pictures from Our Cruise!!

It finally happened! We had been planning and waiting for this cruise for a year and it finally came! We left for Salt Lake to fly out on Dec. the 12th right after I took my last test in nursing school ever!
But before we flew out we took Tommy's sister to dinner at the family famous Texas Roadhouse as a thank your for letting us leave our car at her house and for taking us to and picking us up from the airport. And after the hour wait (welcome to Utah) it was delicious as always!

We got to the airport around 10pm and waited around until midnight to fly out.

Boarding!!

We were happy and excited to fly!, until about 2:00AM into the 4 hour flight.. no flight is comfortable and especially uncomfortable at night trying to get comfortable to sleep while every limb of your body successfully falls asleep.

So we got maybe 1.5-2 hours of interrupted sleep before we landed in Orlando FL at 6:00AM! And by the time we got our luggage and got to the hotel it was 8AM and time to go to Universal Studios! So we ran on 2 hours of sleep at the most while running around in Universal trying to hit all the rides we could in one day!

This was our hotel!

Harry Potter World was Tommy's favorite and was actually pretty awesome!

Butter Beer! It was actually really good!
It tasted like cream soda with a butterscotch cream on top!

The world looked pretty dang real!

Riding on the train :)

Hogwarts!

And of course had to take a picture of Gru!
I didn't realize until now that we really didn't take that many pictures in Universal besides Harry Potter World! Haha But we had a blast there! The rides were amazing! And the motion rides felt totally real! One of our favorite rides was called the Rocket and it was a roller coaster that slowly took you straight up to the top and I mean STRAIGHT! our bodies were parallel with the ground! And there were many more we loved!

The next morning after getting a much needed night of sleep we rode a bus 235 miles from Orlando to Miami. It was quite a ways!

The ship was Huge!!

Goodbye Miami! Goodbye United States! Hello Caribbean!

Miami was Huge!! There is a CSI there ya know! (the show) CSI Miami! Yikes!

And one last picture of Miami.. a beautiful sunset!
Our first day and a half were "sea" days meaning we just sailed all day (and all night every night) journing down to our first stop.. Jamaica! Our first night we went to the dining room for the formal dinner
And then to the hot tubs!
If you've never been on a cruise, every night your room cleaner turns down your bed, and leaves you chocolate and a towel animal..
Our first animal was a seal :)
Our second day (a sea day) we sailed past Cuba...

Which looked dark and dreary, and Scary! Probably just from the crappy weather, but still..

I think this wake was from early in the day because it actually looks kind of nice outside.. but the water is sooo crazy blue!!

2nd day! Not the warmest or sunniest day ever..
That night Tommy and I went to the captains dinner..
And my amazing husband left while I was getting ready and returned with a beautiful vase of roses!
One of the many beautiful chandeliers!

Our second animal was a bunny :)
Our third day we made the stop to "beautiful", hazy, cloudy, rain, WET Jamaica!

But we go off the ship anyways and went trudging in the rain to go climb a waterfall! We were already wet so heck why not!

Before the climb we stayed pretty dry thanks to our rain coats

Right before we climbed the waterfall is stopped raining for a split moment... Actually it stopped raining for us to actually climb the waterfall and then it was a Down Poor!! Seriously the hardest rain I have ever been in!.. We were drenched! Not kidding, we were dripping from every place possible!

After our climb and our miserable trek in the down poor, safe in the bus...
Well I wouldn't actually say "safe".. Those Jamaica drivers are CRAZY!!
But seriously.. there are no road signs, no traffic lights, everyone just goes and weaves and squeezes.. I wonder how high their accident ratio is! We almost hit many things-cars, people, poles, trees! It was nuts! Anyways we didn't get any pictures climbing the waterfall because we were in the water.. with unwater proof phones.. in the pooring rain.. that would have been bad!

Our third day was another sea day while we were sailing to Grand Turk so we spent the day doing fun activities and going to shows

In the theater

That is the sky.. The projector to watch movies was on the top deck so we got a show under the stars.. it was pretty cool!

Our third animal was a bunny again (from our other cleaner) :)
Our fourth day we stopped at the island of Grand Turk! Which I had never heard of before so I was expecting like this tiny little island that was not that great but it was actually probably the prettiest and nicest of the islands we stopped at! It was little though! 7 miles long and 1.5 miles wide!

There s Grand Turk!

I just stayed on ship this day and babysat children while Tommy, my sister and her husband and my brother went snorkeling! We played at the water park on the ship all day (Can't believe I didn't take a picture of the water park!)

That night after Tommy was done snorkeling we went shopping on the island

We are still not sure what our 4th animal was... :)
Our fifth day was a sea day again while we sailed to our last stop :( the Bahamas! This day was like our first good, hot day that the sun was actually shining! Well the sun was shining the day before in Grand Turk but it was off an on with wind :/

And of course hot tubbing again.. this was an every night/ sea day thing!

Our fifth animal was a frog :)

And on our last day, the sixth day, we anchored in the Bahamas! Which is where I bring you the most pictures!

We went to Atlantis, a huge aquarium first and then to the beach!

Some Rays

A Shark!

Mr. Ray.. Nemo's teacher ;)

Some big ugly kind of fish

Part of it was a tunnel we could walk under while fish were swimming all around us.. pretty cool!

The building behind us is a hotel and the piece in the middle is the Michael Jackson suit-$25,000 a night!
And right after the first time he stayed there it was booked for 5 years! Crazy!
BEACH TIME!! Probably my favorite part of the whole trip!!

Coconut Drinks! Pina Colada and Bahama Mama!
The Bahama Mama was delicious!!

Oww Oww!!

We love each other!

So we were in the Bahamas on Dec, 19th which was the my graduation day.. so this picture is my graduation picture instead of my "cap and gown" picture :) And there's different pictures because I had to keep rewriting it cuz the waves would come up and keep washing it away haha

So that was our trip! And we had a blast!!
If you made it all the way to this point, kudos to you!! ;)
Just a few more pics! :)
Goodbye Bahamas :( Goodbye beautiful white sand beaches, sun, warmth, and getting tan :( Goodbye Caribbean :(

This cute girl loves us, and we love her!!
Our cabin.. they are pretty small but your only in there to sleep so no need for them to be big :)
Tally in Uncle Tommy's hat = Cutie!!

Her favorite face to pull!

Love these two cuties!!

Hope you all enjoyed! ;)
