~August~

I guess since it is the last day of August I better write an August post!

I had a couple events I wanted to write about this month but as I was looking through my pictures I was like awww, I'll just add all these pictures in and have it be a random post with just lots of random pictures and short stories! 

So there you have it! Lots of random pictures and short stories!

Just wanted to add this picture in because look at that cute little boy!!! Me and McCoy hanging out while mom gets her lashes done!

This was actually later the same night, had a girls night and made some adorable signs!

First story:
Tommy fishes in a bass club and we had planned on doing this 
co-ed tournament. So since I hadn't been fishing all year, we (Tommy) decided we (I) better go out and practice a little bit! Haha no faith in my fishing skills! ;)

I may always catch the first fish, but Tommy always catches the biggest!

Lets just say the tournament didn't go very well! haha We did pretty good the week before in practice but didn't do very well in the actual tournament. And almost died too....several times!;) I am NOT a fan of riding in the boat and hitting waves! First of all, I hate water! Second of all, I hate water! And have no desire to be thrown into it off of a boat! So the ride to and from our fishing spots was very stressful due to all the waves/wake that were on the river from all the water toys playing that day!

Gooding Pro-Rodeo

Last week I went with a couple nursing friends and kayaked the river up to Pillar Falls for the first time! It was fun, but let me tell ya, it was a brutal shoulder/lat work out!!

And I just thought of this, earlier I said I hate water... I do! Yet, here I am, on the water, AGAIN! Haha but on a kayak, on a nice calm day-I felt safe :) no worries of being thrown into the water ;)

Pillar Falls! It was neat to see! However we hiked around it a bit and I sure wouldn't want to carry a kayak across it to go farther up river to the falls! :/

There are several waterfalls you never see unless your on the river!

Happy August 31st! Here's to September and hoping it cools down!!

Family Camping 2017

Friday morning, July 21, we headed back down to Bear Lake for the weekend for our family camping weekend! What I had been looking forward to all summer!

After we got to Bear Lake we stopped and Tam and Er's to follow them up to camp, stopped at Broulims to grab a few extra things and lunch and headed up to camp!

When we got to camp it was just going to be us there for awhile so we went on a razor ride!

Tills rode with us the first half and then we switched and Paiz rode with us back! Jacks switched razors too and rode back with Tam and Er :)

When we got back to camp Trish and her kids were there waiting for us! We sat around and talked until everyone else started showing up and then we made a fire, cooked hot dogs, marshmallows and s'mores and talked some more! Late into the night :)

I took these pictures because both Tommy and my boots are super old! But they are our favorite ones! We love them!

The next day we went to the lake for the Woolstenhulme family reunion and hung out there for the day!

Then we headed back to camp to start cooking dinner-dutch oven ribs and potatoes! YUM!! And dutch oven cherry cobbler and apple crisp! And another night of talking around the fire late into the night! :) Love my family!!

Sunday morning we made breakfast burritos for breakfast, cleaned up camp and headed back to town. Tommy and I had taken Monday off as well so we could stay Sunday night for the twins and Tally's birthday party!

Monday morning we went to Dingle pond and went fishing with the kids before we had to head back to Twin!

2 weekends down, 1 to go! Next weekend I am coming back down to Bear Lake for the last time this summer for my Mom's Johnson reunion! I have loved coming to Bear Lake so much this month!!

Little Sister Weekned

This year at work when they told us to request our summer vacation days off I realized we hadn't planned on doing anything for summer vacation this year. So I decided to go to all my family reunions instead! They are usually hit and miss on the ones I can make it to.

The first one was the Skinner reunion on July 15th, so I went down early Friday morning to spend the whole weekend with my two little sisters! We spent the day at the lake Friday, went to dinner at El Jaliciense aka The Mexican Restaurant in Montpelier aka the best Mexican restaurant EVER! and then headed out to camp at the campground until the family reunion the next day :) And I felt pretty grown up camping all by ourselves haha... I am 24, I know!

I meant to take pictures at the lake but totally forgot! So I only got one when we were camping :)

We made s'mores over the cash cooker, spent the night playing games and laughing until my chest hurt and my eyes were crying, and fell asleep watching Pirates of the Caribbean. The next morning we made pancakes, eggs, bacon, and hot chocolate for breakfast and cleaned up camp to go get cleaned up ourselves and ready for the reunion! And I have to give credit where credit is due!... Kyla was the one who pretty much planned all this and packed everything we needed and brought everything to make breakfast! She was the mastermind and super prepared! Better than me! I was super impressed! 

 After getting ready we spent the rest of the day with my Skinner family at the reunion!

I also wanted to throw this picture in here. I had this painting made for Tam the day after Cashton was born and was finally able to give it her! I was so excited and super pleased with how it turned out! They LOVED it!!

The house is done!! It just has to be cleaned, but it is done!! However, we are BUSY! So, we were not able to close until 2 weeks after.

June 27, Closing Day!!

Home Owners!

We closed at 3 and right after went and moved a bunch of boxes! (I had been packed for like 2 months!) We moved as much as we could because I worked the next day and then then we had one day to move and clean the apartment before we went to Utah for the weekend, and I wanted to have the keys handed in before we left! I actually started moving boxes before we officially closed, but it was closing day and I couldn't wait any longer! Haha

We got it done though! Moved, the apartment cleaned and keys handed in before we left for Utah! (fist pump!)
