Camping 2016

On Friday, July 22 we headed down to Bear Lake for our camping trip with my family!! Camping all weekend with no interuptions! Just 3 days of family in the woods! :)

We got up to camp Friday afternoon and started our campout with elk tinfoil dinners for super! And of course roasted marshmallows and smore's! We also celebrated my nephews 22nd birthday so we had cheesecake too!

Saturday morning, after eating berry colossal crunch (my favorite cereal) with MARSHMALLOWS!! (Even Better!!) we spent the whole day chatting, laughing, playing games and just hanging out with everyone! So much fun! And then started helping out making dinner for the night-dutchoven ribs and potatoes! (Good job Er!) oh and cherry and peach cobbler (Good job babe!). So yummy! And of course more roasted marshmallows and smore's! (You can't go one night with out those!)

Sunday morning we did a big breakfast all together and had omletts... they turned out good, but were really hard and time consuming to make on a camp chef and kind of a fail! But the last two omletts we made, out of like 13, did turn out! (Good job again babe!) We just relaxed until about 2 or 3 and then started heading out :(

After getting cleaned up we went up to Jed and Tricia's for the twins and Tally's birthday parties! And celebrated with them until it was time for Tommy and I to head home since we had to work the next morning :( Dang work gets in the way of everything!
We didn't get any pictures of us all up camping :( I really sucked the whole trip getting any pictures! This was about all I got the whole 3 days :(

But it was such a fun weekend with everyone! We never want to go home after visiting!

Happy Independence!

Happy Independence Day!!

We kept this years 4th low key, but who says low key can't be fun!!

I started the day off with an hour and a half of Zumba!! While Tommy went golfing with Jake. We had planned to go out to Jake and Blaikes later that evening for dinner and fireworks, but Tommy called me around lunch time and said they were going to cook some hotdogs for lunch. So we actually went out for lunch, dinner and fireworks... never a bad thing!! Can't get enough of you guys! ;) But seriously we never get sick of spending so much time with you!!

So we ate "lunch" bacon wrapped, trager smoked hotdogs and jalapeno peppers, ended up being around 5! And then watched Ride Along 2... or more like Blaike and I watched Ride Along 2... Tommy was sleeping and I think Jake was dozing off too. And we also watched Sisters when Tommy and Jake went to get fireworks!

When they got back we ate dinner, delicious tritip that had been smoking on the trager! (We never skimp on food when we hang out!!) Oh and these cool drinks that didn't really turn out haha! (The blue kind of disappears in the red)
And ended the night with a fire, fireworks and smore's!!
Low key-but SO much fun!!

~Boise Trip~

June 24th we took a trip to Boise for the weekend! Tommy and Jake went earlier in the morning to go fishing and Blaike and I drove up later. We did a little shopping and went to dinner while we waited for them to get home, and then went to Pie Hole when they got home for some pizza!

They went fishing the next morning while we went shopping again! Our first stop was the farmers market...A.maz.ing!! When the boys got back we went to the habbit for a delicious burger and fries and then to subzero for icecream!! We may have also went to krispy kreme since the hot and fresh light was on and got some doughnuts ;)
What can we say, we had a lot of places we had eat at!

Next stop was walking around the village and playing in the arcade! Seriously that was the funnest part! Best arcade ever!!

And on our way home we stopped at the real Pie Hole in downtown Boise for the real Pie Hole experience! Which this may have to be a new tradition upon going to Boise-the pizza is cheap and so yummy!! Getting out of our comfort zone-not once did we eat at Texas Roadhouse!

Such a fun trip to Boise and the next one is already in the making!!

Bear Lake!! ("Bear Lake" ALWAYS requires exclamation points after it!!!)

May 26th we went down to Bear Lake for my sisters graduation!! (What the heck?! My sisters old enough to graduate?!) On the way down we were driving on the freeway close to Burley and we pass a semi-Tommy happens to look over and low and behold it's a Woolstenhulme Farms truck and my brothers semi!
HELLO!!!
He did look over and wave to us and even rolled his window down and tried to talk to us haha, that didn't go to well, I just didn't get a good picture.

Anyways, that was kinda fun! We stayed the whole weekend, and stayed with Jed and Trish in their new addition where they built a special room just for us!! ;) It was so much fun!!

We went to Kyla's graduation Thursday night

Friday we hung out with Trish, Tally, and the twins while Jed and Coop and Port were hauling hay... We played on snapchat....A LOT!!! Ran my battery dead a few times a day! ;)

And then we went to Dingle pond and walked around the trail while Tommy and Tally caught some fish!

That night we had everyone over for waffle bar and games!! Yum!! And so much fun!!

Saturday we started the morning off by making sugar cookies!! Tally saw pictures on my phone last time we were down, of our Christmas cookies and wanted to make some, so I promised her next time we came down we would make sugar cookies!
It's never too early for cookies right?!
(I'm pretty sure that's all I had for breakfast!)
What hams!

The boys were pretty sad that they were gone when we went fishing on Friday so we went fishing again on Saturday! They had a lot of fun!!
Ready to go walking!
Woop!! This picture was caught right at the perfect time!

We had such a fun relaxing weekend of just hanging out!! I love it!! We LOVE going to Bear Lake!! Can't wait for our next trip down in July for the camping trip!!

BiRtHdAyS!!!

I wasn't going to post about my birthday cuz it wasn't too crazy, but I have a couple pictures, so may as well!

So my birthday, last month, I worked the day before and my !AMAZING! (can I emphesize that any anymore?!) mother-in-law brought me a cake and present to work! Since we wouldn't be able to celebrate with them-it's kind of a tradition to celebrate our birthdays together with a Costco cake. So she brought me my own personal cake! Just the right size may I add!
I got to spend my birthday off, with my husband! We didn't do too much-nothing crazy but it was a perfect day! Started my day off my favorite way-by getting a good workout at the gym! And thanks to the guy who scanned me in-he noticed it was my birthday and told me I got a free shake! Heck Ya!!
We spent the rest of the day lounging around and being lazy! Which I totally didn't mind! I'll tell ya what working 12 hour shifts sure take it out of you and that's all you want to do on your days off! So it was perfect!

That night we went to dinner with our friends Jake and Blaike and went to Jakers! I was so excited because I had never been there and had always wanted to go-and LOVE a good steak!! And had cake after dinner! It was a great 23rd!

For Tommy's birthday we did a little bit more! I had planned a surprise trip to Boise doing all the things he loves!

First stop.. Cabelas! or course! While Tommy was in Cabelas I went to the Cheesecake Factory and picked up a WHOLE oreo dream cheesecake I had ordered for him and got it all set up with candles for later! We went to The Village in Meridian and walked around the stores and then went to a movie.
And of course ended the night with Texas Roadhouse!
What a cute birthday boy!
After dinner before we started on our way home Tommy wanted to stop at Cheesecake Factory and get a slice of cheesecake... little did he know I already had! :) I got the cheesecake out and sang happy birthday! (solo!)
25!!!!
And I knew it would be way to hard to try and cut and serve out of the whole cake in the truck so I got a single slice as well! Gosh he's spoiled!! ;)
Happy 25th Babe!!!
(We're getting old!!!!)

Disneyland!!

Sooooo..... Disneyland!!

We have been wanting to go to Disneyland for a while now before we have kids so we decided one day in December that we better go.... in January! So Santa made our wish come true and printed off tickets to Disney!!

We are kinda spontaneous like that.. lately anyways haha. So that night I booked our flights, hotel, park tickets, shuttles and it was a done deal!

We flew into California on January 13th and started our 5 day adventure in Disneyland and California Adventure on the 14th.
Welcome to Disneyland! The happiest place on earth!
Waiting to get in!
Walking down Main Street USA
The first thing we did was grab fast passes for Indiana Jones and then went in Tarzan's Treehouse
First actual ride we did was Pirates of the Caribbean
And of course we had to do the shooting game!
Small World was a must! It was still decorated for Christmas so that put a cool twist on the ride
The second day we spent in California Adventure

Looked just like down town Radiator Springs!
Cars Land was seriously the coolest!
Tower of Terror-One of my favorites!!
"You-Hoo Big Summer Blowout!"
Tommy had never been on a carousal!
Had to try the turkey leg!
First ride on California Screamin!

2nd Time!
3rd Time!
The water fountain show in California Adventure
Had to get Ears!!
3rd day we went back to Disneyland!
First time on Space Mountain-We weren't ready for that one haha
Alice in Wonderland
A quick selfie so we didn't get trampled!
Had to try the mickey beignets! They were delish!
They had a light show at night and it was super cool! It was a short parade with a few huge floats that were all lights! And a firework show afterward... and I don't really remember the firework show the first time I went, but I would go back to Disneyland JUST for the firework show!!! It was THE BEST show I have ever seen!! Aww I miss it already!
Mack was a full sized semi!
And that wrapped up the 3rd night!

4th day we were woken early by a bunch of cheering outside and come to find out they were having a 5k, 10k, and I think a half marathon through Disney! We were totally bummed because that would have been totally fun to do!! Don't get me wrong-I'm talking about the 5 or 10k, NOT the half marathon!! ;)
4th day was back in Cali Adventures for the last time :(
First up- Cars Land!
California Screamin a couple more times!
HAD to see Olaf!!
They had a ton of frozen plays and such... they were all so cute!
Waiting in line for Tower of Terror for the last time! :'(
All these pictures of a picture are my favorite!! Although not the best quality-they are pretty great!
Last DAY! Spent in Disneyland-they have park hoppers so you can go from one park to the next within the same day but we didn't get those so we had to choose carefully where we were going to spend our last day! Not really haha we had dinner reservations in Disneyland that night so we had to go there :) Which was ok with me! I was glad we didn't have to decide! That would have been a tough one!

Space Mountain was our first stop! We went and got a fast pass and then got in line since it wasn't that long of a wait! And since the wait can get up to 2 hours!!
Yap weren't ready for that one either!
That's more like it!!
The Matterhorn!
Nope-Don't know the guy posing for our picture! Haha
Walt and Mickey

Sword in the Stone
The Matterhorn Macaroon! It was quite delicious!!
Tommy got Buzz Light Year ears!
Our dinner that night was at the Blue Bayou which was a restaurant in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride! So this is a picture of the restaurant from the ride
And that wrapped up our stay at Disneyland! We went home after dinner because we had to be up ready to catch our shuttle to the airport at 4am!

Oh and I had to take a picture of just the mickey because we tried multiple times to get our picture taken with him and none of them turned out right! (I am picky about pictures!) Let me show you what I mean...... ;)
Here's the first attempt.... ok, only half of mickey is in there!
Second attempt... we are clearly blocking almost all of mickey!!
Third attempt... We are STILL blocking mickey!! You can not see all of him!!
Ok rant done ;)

And the last picture of the trip! Always have to get a picture from the plane but that morning we flew out was absolutely gorgeous! This is right after we took of so we are above the ocean, but you can't tell because of blanket of clouds! And of course the picture Does Not do it justice!
We had sooooo much fun in Disneyland and miss it already!! It really is the happiest place on earth and brings out the little kid in you! It was seriously so magical!! We Loved it!! Can't wait to go back!!
